Coming out of the Dark
A woman and her daughter together. The baby's heart starts to heal the heart of the mother, who has bruises from domestic violence.

Surviving

A surreal painting of a woman surviving every day pressures. If you look closely you'll see a second face in the smoke of the fire.

 Rediscovery

A woman who is rediscovering herself. She's wearing make up and jewelry. Her hair is pulled back. She's rediscovering her beauty and how she feels when enhancing that beauty with make up and jewelry.

Post Therapy Crash 

I started therapy in 2023, over 20 years since I gave birth to my amazing daughter. After talking and slowly healing from trauma, I go home and crash. That crash is represented by a person lying down and feeling drained. This was created using blue Crayola crayons on cardstock.The scribbled background represents my mental state during the crash out.
