They say art imitates life, I have a great eye in capturing my surroundings, my photos imitate my surroundings. What I capture in the moment, I bring it to life. The photos I capture are symbolical and metaphorical because they represent the essence of life, Most of what I capture is objects and things because they are just as important as people are when it comes to photographing subjects. The pieces that I create comes from a raw and honest place, and each piece is representation of who I am & the audience can identify themselves in my work. There's no limitations on what I don't capture. It's not about where you create your art, it's about the art you create. "Create What Can Be Manifest".
When I'm Feeling Blu #1
8.5 x 11
It's about sadness, pain, and being in an emotional state of mind. I photographed water from the street then edited the piece on mirrorlab using a filter called marble. The marble filter gave the artwork more of a wet and softer feel due to its volubility.
Faith
8.5 x 11
In this photo I captured my bracelet that had the word "faith". I thought is was Cliche to capture at first because it's so simple but it was a reminder to myself that I gotta keep the faith no matter what comes my way or what I'm facing in life. Also, I'm a very spiritual person so this piece is a very personal and close to home.
Better Dayz
8.5 x 11
I'm Capturing the form of the clouds. The color purple represents faith and optimism. Looking forward to better and greater days to come. When capturing this photo, I wanted to reflect on the darkest moments I went through in my life and still do at times. I wanted this photo to be a great light and example of you can get though it, and there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
SOLID #1
8.5 x 11
This is about keeping your head up, staying strong, still standing, don't give up, facing adversity. I created this piece out of self-therapy for me because it's a reminder to keep going and don't give up despite the challenges I face. I photographed some rocks then edit the rocks using mirrorlab to sharpen the details of the rocks.
