Months become years

 One day at a time..

 Nearly a decade…

 Watching you die…

 A slow and painful death 

 Broken dreams

 Broken promises

 Broken hearts

Yet I know that change is possible..

 That butterflies emerge after great struggle..

 That you are one of my greatest teachers ..

 And meant to be part of our lives.
